GAU - Department of Interior Architecture in Turkish language was established as part of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts at Girne American University in 2014. 

With strong emphasis on biocentric and inclusive design values, the Department of Interior Architecture (Turkish Stream) provides education based upon critical thinking, social responsibility and sustainable design approaches. Educational program follows faculty guidelines as well as the department principles grounded in the creative processes in interior architecture supported by research and practice.

The department of Interior Architecture (Turkish stream) aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to find creative, responsible and innovative ways to shape interior spaces that enhance the quality of life and wellbeing.
