E-Learning Frequently Asked Questions

 


All Girne American University students are entitled to receive a “Student Email” account, and all students have an email address in the following format: >> name.surname@std.gau.edu.tr << 

With this email address, our students will have access to a Google Drive cloud account without storage limitations. All Google applications are available free of charge for our students.

  • WHICH ACCOUNT SHOULD I USE WHEN LOGGING INTO E-LEARNING?

You must use your “Student Email” address when logging into the E-learning system. You cannot log in with your personal email address.

  • HOW CAN I FIND OUT MY STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESS?

To retrieve your Student Email address, please enter your student number below to access your email information.

  • HOW DO I LOG INTO E-LEARNING?

Please visit the page below and click the Sign in with Google button under the Student Login section.

  • I RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE WHILE LOGGING IN. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you receive an error message as shown in the image below, please follow the steps below.

Please click the link below and log in on the page that opens.

  1. Log in by entering your Student Email Address and password.
  2. Then visit the page below and click the Sign in with Google button under the Student Login section.

  • IT SAYS “WRONG PASSWORD”. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First, we recommend that you try the password recovery option using the link below.

  • THE RECOVERY PROCESS FAILED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please send an email to help@std.gau.edu.tr and include the following information in your message:

  1. Your full name,
  2. Your student number,
  3. Your phone number

and a description of the error message you receive while trying to log in.

 

  • I RECEIVE A 2-STEP VERIFICATION ERROR. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
