About Program

Associate of Science in Electronics Technology designed to train interested and motivated students with the technical skills required for industrial electronics fields. The program provides a balance mix of courses in electronics, and computer hardware.

 

Most industrial facilities require the service of an Electronics Technology technician with the knowledge of digital circuitry and automated systems. The increasing dependence of industrial systems on electronics has created a need for technicians qualified to design, test, install, repair, and control electronics and computer systems.

 

The Electronics Technology curriculum in GAU is designed to provide the students with a sound theoretical background about Electronic Technology while being oriented toward applied problem solving. Student need to complete 63 credit hours to graduate with an Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology. This program enables students to transfer to senior institutions that offer a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering.
