The Sustainability Coordination Office at Girne American University leads the university’s commitment to creating a greener, smarter, and more responsible campus. We work to integrate sustainable principles into every aspect of university life - through teaching, research, operations, and community engagement.

Our office drives initiatives that reduce the university’s environmental impact, promote awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and empower faculty, staff, and students to adopt sustainable practices. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, innovative projects, and continuous improvement, we aim to cultivate an environmentally conscious campus culture.
