Founded in 1993 within the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, the Department of Architecture has been a department of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts since 2009, providing critical and theoretical knowledge in the field of architecture, creative design, current presentation techniques, building technology and ethical and human values related to the field. It offers an education that stands out. As a university unit with today's understanding, the Department of Architecture, which has adopted universal values and aims for internationalization, offers educational opportunities at GAU and Canterbury campuses in addition to GAU - Cyprus campus, and has its own organizations such as the Association of European Schools of Architecture (EAAE) and MOBBİG - Department Heads of Architecture Schools Communication Group. It is an international environment that is part of universal studies in its field, provides education in English, creates international collaborations and brings together people from various countries. The Department of Architecture offers its students a universal, up-to-date, intellectual, ethical and active education process with its participatory and interactive course environment, technological facilities, up-to-date academic staff and student-centered education approach.
