GAU Architecture Student receives a Plaque of Success in the contest of “The Architecture of an Invasion”

GAU Senior Architecture student Muhammed Nazif Öztürk has received a plaque of success in the contest of “The Architecture of an Invasion” organised by one of the most prestigious architecture institutions in Turkey - Architects Association 1927. The photograph by GAU student Muhammed Nazif Öztürk - “The Architecture of an Invasion”, has won an award by describing the invasion of the peninsula by the construction of the new Golden Horn Bridge in Istanbul. GAU architecture student Muhammed Nazif Öztürk participated in the opening ceremony and the awards and shared his ideas on the photograph and his thoughts about the invasion.

Vice-Dean of GAU Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty - Assist. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri, has underlined his honour at the success of the GAU student and stressed that the success of this creativity is the result of the quality educational policy. Sadri finally stated that similar success is achieved by GAU students in other various contests and Sadri also reported that the GAU Faculty of Architecture emphasized that the success of workshops and implemented studies is reinforced by practical knowledge as well as the theoretical.
