ANNOUNCEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION PRINCIPLES FOR MAKE-UP EXAMS

1. Girne American University Associate and Bachelor's degree students are entitled to take make-up exams for "F" grades received in the Spring 2026 Academic semester.

2. Students with Withdrawn "W" and "NG" grades will not be granted the right to take make-up exams.

3. Make-up exams will not be applied to courses that are evaluated through practical, project-based, workshop, and studio work and do not have a written final exam.

4. The grade received in the make-up exam will only replace the final exam grade and will not be added to the overall grade for the course.

5. Students who apply for make-up exams but do not attend for any reason will not be given an additional exam opportunity and will be considered to have failed the course. 6. Applications for make-up exams will be accepted between June 2nd and 4th, 2026, via the official GAÜ website using the following link: https://www.gau.edu.tr/butunleme-basvuru-formu/butunleme-basvuru-formu

1. Applications can only be made online. Late applications will not be accepted. Please pay a fee of 750 TL per exam and submit your accounting receipts to our accounting department.

2. Make-up exams will be held between June 8th and 10th, 2026.
