GAU Maritime School Pipe and Drum Band Participates in the Academic Year Opening Ceremony

Girne American University (GAU) held its 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony on October 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Spectrum Congress Center.

Organized under the theme “The World We Build – From a Global University to a Global Future,” the ceremony featured a performance by the GAU Maritime School Pipe and Drum Band.

Reflecting the maritime values of discipline, coordination, and teamwork, the Pipe and Drum Band contributed to the ceremonial atmosphere and marked the beginning of the new academic year.

The active participation of Maritime School students in social, cultural, and ceremonial activities, alongside their academic education, reflects the university's commitment to a well-rounded educational experience.
