Asst. Prof. Dr. Henrieta Krupa Represents Girne American University at CYICER 2026
11th Cyprus International Conference on Educational Research (CYICER 2026), held between 25–28 March 2026 at University of Kyrenia in Kyrenia, brought together scholars from across the globe to discuss contemporary developments in educational research.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Henrieta Krupa, representing Girne American University, participated in the conference and presented her paper titled “Visual Epistemologies in Feminist Education.” Her presentation explored the role of visual culture in shaping feminist pedagogical approaches, emphasizing how knowledge production can be reimagined through alternative epistemologies.
The conference provided an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas on current issues in education. Sessions covered a wide range of topics, including curriculum development, digital learning, inclusive education, and critical pedagogies. Dr. Krupa’s participation contributed to the international visibility of Girne American University and highlighted the institution’s ongoing engagement with innovative and critical approaches to education.
