Dereboyu Has Gone Into Science Literature For Its Historical Architecture And Natural Structure

GAU Faculty of Architecture Design & Fine Arts has participated in International Target Management and Brandization Conference.

Conference was organized by Mediterranean University Tourism Faculty. For GAU Architecture Design & Fine Arts department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fereshteh Habib has participated with a presentation entitled “Sustainable Tourism during Crisis Period” .
“Basis of sustainable alteration in tourism depends on Green Structure Designs which protects the environment”

Dr. Habib made an explanation on the issue to GAU TV. She attended the conference with her presentation entitled “Green Structure Design for Sustainable Change during Crisis Period”. According to her statement, in order to sustain tourism in TRNC he submitted suggestions developed for Nicosia Dereboyu example. She also emphasized that with developing natural and historical places, reviving tourism potential in a sustainable way in the area and protecting the values of history and nature in Nicosia, Dereboyu will make important contributions to country’s tourism. Her presentation took part in the abstract book of international conference. Alongside with special Dereboyu example, TRNC has gone into science literature with its natural and historical architecture. Dr. Habib pointed out that basis of sustainable alteration in tourism depends on Green Structure Designs which protects the environment.
“Environment Protecting Green Structure Designs will underlie Karpaz Life Campus”

GAU head of Architecture Design & Fine Arts department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri stated that alongside with TRNC’s natural and historical architecture, international conference has an important role for announcing to the world about TRNC’s untouched environment and tourism potential. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadri emphasized that environment protecting green structure designs will underlie GAU Karpaz Life Campus. The base of the campus will be laid by TRNC Prime Minister İrsen Küçük on 8 May 2012. He also added that campus will be implemented with environment protecting, sustainable altering environment. And it will be a model in architecture history literature. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadri also specified that environment protecting designs are honor of architecture. Alongside with GAU Karpaz Life Campus’ architecture, environment institutes and research centers, protecting Karpaz’s nature will have important contributions for legating cultural inheritance to next generations.
