Girne American University has organized the third workshop on Education. The workshop under the theme “Changing School Culture in the Information Society and Success in Leadership Counseling” will be held at the GAU Spectrum Hall, North Cyprus campus of GAU on 12 April 2012.

In the statement made by the Faculty of Education, the workshop mainly aims to create an environment, in which there will be discussions and exchange of views on how school climate changes affect the students, teachers, and school administrators and how they should refresh themselves. The workshop will also focus on new dimensions of leadership, counseling, and success.
“100 Educators from Turkey will participate the workshop”

About 100 educators and guidance counselors from Turkey will participate the workshop, which has been organized to create an environment, in which there will be discussions and exchange of views of knowledge and experience of secondary schools that take place at the center of application. The workshop, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Münir Acuner and Asst. Prof. Dr. Oxana Manolova from the GAU Faculty of Education will also participate as speakers, is expected to be a share workshop as it will serve the functioning and characteristics of information society.
