According to the Girne American University academic calendar, the registration period will be held between 22^nd September 2021– 8^th October 2021. Classes will be beginning on 11^th October 2021. You can view the full academic calendar by visiting our webpage.

Below we are sharing with you statements 4 and 5 from the recent official announcement made by the TRNC Council of Ministers regarding the Fall 2021-2022 academic semester.

Point 4- Students that will come to the TRNC for their education during the ongoing pandemic, will be adhering to implemented physical social distancing and hygiene rules and regulations. The mode of learning for this semester will be Face to face (with social distancing rules and regulations).

Point 5 - The TRNC will be implementing Face to face learning (with social distancing rules and regulations) for all active students, therefore all students will need to be psychically  present on the Island and obtaining student residency permit will be mandatory.

According to the decision made by the Council of Ministers and the University senate meeting decision made on 10^th August 2021, the official mode of learning for the Fall 2021 academic semester will be face to face (with social distancing rules and regulations).

The announcement made by the TRNC Supreme Disease Committee confirms that students arriving from international counties (Dark Red colour code) will be able to enter the TRNC on the condition that they quarantine for 14 (fourteen) days.
