OKÖ 103Human Anatomy and Physiology (3-0-3)
Basic principles of human anatomy and the fundamental mechanisms of human physiology. Structure and the functions of human body, its organization, regulation and maintenance systems, support, movement and integration-control systems, nervous system, hormones.
OKÖ 105Psychology (2-0-2)
Definition of psychology, historical development of psychology, major areas of psychology (physiological psychology, developmental psychology, learning, memory and perception, personality and social psychology), psycjological theories, the subjects of biological basis of behaviors.
TURK 103Turkish I: Written Expression (2-0-2)
Informs students about reading comprehension and written expression skills; gives students basic knowledge (forms of expression and thought)about written texts (about thought-provoking and instructive texts and fictional/literary texts); informs students about text reading and analyzing techniques; makes practice (prepared and unprepared writing practice) about different kinds of texts to develop their writing skills; shows Turkish spelling rules and marks with their examples; corrects their structural and linguistic (expression, spelling etc.) errors in written expression; allows students to establish relations between Turkish and world culture and literature.

EGT 405 Counseling (3-0-3)
Purposes of student personality services and their place in education, introduction to guidance services in schools, principles of guidance, diagnosing and guiding students, collection and use of data on student counseling, placement, follow-up advising, research and evaluation, relations with parents and beyond the school community, vocational guidance, identifying students in early childhood education.
EGT 407 Practice Teaching I (2-6-5)
To define the daily tasks which has to be done in the school, prepare a daily plan, implement the plan , control the undesired behaviours of student, fill the self-evaluation form, prepare a portfolio .
OKÖ 402 School Readiness and Transition to Elementary School (2-0-2)

To prepare a daily plan for each week , implement the plan, evaluate the implementation (both the teacher from the school and the student), do proofreading of the plan and implement the plan according to the proofreading results and prepare a portfolio.
