Taşova Quarry Foundation continues the symposia it holds to give information to the people on labour health and security and to raise awareness on laws and regulations on that throughout TRNC.

Labour health experts raised by the foundation made presentations on different issues at the symposium, which was held at Girne American University (GAU) on May 28, 2010, Friday and which continued through the day. Halil Erdim made a presentation on “Municipality Services Labour Health and Security”, Bengü Mındıkoğlu made a presentation on “Minimum Health and Security Conditions in Carrying Loads in Hands”, Yasemin Çobanoğlu made a presentation on “Personal Protectors and Equipments”, Elif Binboğa made a presentation “Chemical Dangers and Equipment Security Information Funds”, Cem Mındıkoğlu made a presentation on “Labour Health and Security Obligations of Employers and Employees” and Nidai Kordal made a presentation on “Ergonomics” and they gave information on the attendees on labour health and security. The symposium ended after the debate part that was held in question-answer format.

Taşova Quarry Foundation held a symposium at GAU after they held another one in Nicosia and they stated that they would hold another symposium at Lefke on Monday.
