The 35 mm TRNC film “Anahtar” (the Key) will be presented to the film enthusiasts at a launching cermony to be held on 6th March at the Senate Congress Hall of the Millennium Building of the Girne American University.

The first 35 mm film of the TRNC, “Anahtar” will be shown on Tuesday 6th March at 19:30 at the Congress Centre of GAU Millenniun Building to the press and protocol. The gala presentation of the film will take place with invitation.

A film of suspension and drama genre directed by Cemal Yıldırım and written and produced by Ferhat Atik, will be shown at Lemar and Galeria cinemas as from 9th March 2012. All involved in producing the film to be shown at these two cinemas- director, actors, script writer and technical team and sponsors - are local peeople.
A Real Life Supension- Drama

The music of the film, the script of which was based on tke novel “Sonbahar” (Autumn)by Ferhat akın, was written by Aysun Kahraman. A real life story which depicts a picture of the TRNC’s past in a film entitled “Anahtar” (the Key), was realized sponsorship of the Office of the President, Girne American University (GAU), Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality, Gönyeli Municipality, Vakıflar Bank, King Leisure Centre,Tosunoğlu Group and Tüfkçi Group.
The Film Represented the TRNC at the Golden Orange Film Festival

Taking part at the 48th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival with a “Private Presentation”, the film successfully represented the TRNC at an international film festival.
