The American College under the GAU Pre-Higher Education - Education Consortium Group of Schools has achieved a great success in the Finals of the National Education Ministry - Common Services in Education Department Directorate - National Days School Sports and Branch Events Co-ordination Office - Young Fencers.

The American College which gives education within the Girne American University (GAU) Pre-Higher Education Consortium Group of Schools had a great accomplishment in the Finals of Youth Fencing under the Ministry of National Education Common Services Organization Directorate National Days School Sports Branch Events Co-ordination Directorship.

The contest which took place in the American College Indoor Sports Hall concluded with first place being awarded to both individual and team categories under Sword Ladies and Sword Men. Türkan Teknikel, Eda Hasizmirli, Emine Keremoğlu ranked in the top three under Sword Ladies and Ertan R. Rızaoğlu, Salih Kayasal, Savcı Genç ranked in the top three under Sword Men individual categories. Furthermore the American College achieved the first place under Sword Ladies and Sword Men Team categories.

The American College stated that students have proved themselves in many various fields and they will continue to pursue success in the future.
