A CONGRATULATION MESSAGEPUBLISHEDON JULY 11 BY THE FOUNDER RECTOR OF GAU AND CHANCELLOR OF BOARD OF ADMINISTRATORS SERHAT AKPINAR

On 11th of July, Founder Rector of GAU and Chancellor of Board of Administrators SerhatAkpınar congratulated the Press Day of all press members with his published message.

Akpınar’s published message is as the following;

“Turkish Cypriot Press has been the pioneer of consisting of Turkish Cypriot Social History besides that becoming popular in the world and leading the struggle for existence for 124 years. The Press has maintained the principled journalism tradition in regards to social benefit over a centuryand also with the contribution to democracy and pluralism; it has created the leading force of social development and progress.

I wish the productions of all members of the press  to continue on bases ofdemocracy, polyphony, mankind, institutional rights and justicefor their attitudes are in pursue of social benefit, justice, democracy and polyphony, with the objective of undertaking right journalism caring solely a gain in favor of public opinion and the society. I congratulate the Press Day of all the institutions of Turkish Cypriot Press, journalists and reporters on behalf of the Global Science Family of Girne American University
