GAU And Paul Bocuse Outdo In Gastronomy Education
Girne American University Higher School of Social Sciences (GAU USBYO) Department of Tourism Hotel and Hospitality is preparing to commence a new period in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts education via French ecole and tourism education via European Union Standards.
GirneAmerican University is first an only university to sign an academic cooperation protocol with the most prestige Cooking school- Institute Paul Bocuse of France, and yet continuing to achieve to be one of the top three universities of Turkey in tourism education.
Director of Girne American University Applied Social Sciences Higher School (USBYO) and Chancellor of International Tourism and Education Board (INTEB) and Authorized person of Mediterranean and Middle East member of administrative board of World Tourism Hospitality and Education Union Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel have made important explanations to GAU TV Aktüel (Actual) News program related to the topic.
Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel stated that Girne American University provides education in all departments in general and Tourism via European Union standards in private with international accreditation and recognition together with international memberships. He also stated that with the protocol signed in cooperation with the most prestige Cooking school of France- Institute Paul Bocuse the standards of TRNC will re-shape in the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts in Tourism education by GAU.

Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel stating thatMichelin star cooks and instructors lead the world of gastronomy and these Michelin star cooks and instructors will participate in long-term and short-term education programs which will be held in the GAU overseas campuses and GAU Turkey Campus which is the first education building situated in Istanbul Beşiktaş Campus. Leading Michelin star cooks of the world Anne Sophie Pic’s statements underlined the important harmony between the cooperation of Paul Bocuse and GAU- French and Ottoman cosine and culture and emphasized that this will contribute GAU students in their cultural knowledge and as individuals leaders to be in culture.
