The Girne American University Stage School is now accepting students by means of an aptitude test which includes solo performance, choreography and oral interview.

A statement from GAU said they are accepting auditions from students and called on talented students to take the aptitude test for the Dance Academy, Sport Academy and for the Department of Interior Design. “If you are special, if you can design, if you can see the future, you are with us with your talent,” the statement said.

The Dance Education Programme is now taking students with the slogan of ‘Now, it is time to dance!’ and aims to train professional dancers after two years and to train professional dance instructors after 4 years. The modern faculty building cost 2.5 million euro and features functional design and an up-to-date technological infrastructure and dance studios.

GAU has world-famous Turkish and Russian artists and teachers. Along with Galip Emre who is a member of the Turkish Dance Federation Board and creator of Functional Dance Theory, Oleg Manukovich, Liliya Biroğul, Alexandra Simakova and Suzan Erkan will instruct Stage School Students.
