American College men’s basketball team of GAU group of schools take firm steps forward.

In the Girne American College –ESK basketball match was held this week, after an uphill struggle, the American College won the match by playing well from start to finish with 77-16 score.

American College men`s basketball team played a game with a total of 77 points 30 assists, 17 steals and 12 turnovers ,34 rebound  and 4 blocks . All players have contributed to the score.

Due to these results, the team took over the leadership in its group. Next match will be held on 4th of December. One of the strongest team Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School will be competing against the American College which will be held in E. Apakan Sports Saloon. In case of a win, American College will be guaranteed to be the leader.

Team trainer Gökay İskar emphasized that the team will be the champion as the athletes train hard with discipline during the year.
