Under GAU Educational Institution of Pre-Higher Education Schools, April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebration was organized by the Future American Elementary School Lefkoşa Alayköy Campus (GAU Cyprus Premises outside of Girne Campus).And it has been celebrated with various dances and shows.

Head of Department of GAU health, culture and sports Türkay Akpınar also attended the ceremony. The ceremony has started with a stand in silence which is later followed by the National Anthem. Parents showed deep interest to dances and show portrayed by small students during the ceremony.

Under pre-school department classes named “Chipmunks and Frogs”, gymnastic shows have been portrayed. Alongside with this show, dances and folklore performed by elementary school students have also colored up the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebration. Parents and the audience also gave a standing ovation to student’s performance and enthusiasm.
