The GAU Badmintom Team were the undefeated winners in the TRNC Inter- Universities Badminton Competition organized by the TRNC Inter- University Sport Federation.

The GAU Badminton Team who beat The Neareast University with a 4-1 score and The International Cyprus University with a 5-0 score will represent the TRNC in the Turkish Inter-University 2 League badminton Championship.

‘’Our Goal is to be One of Best Turkish Universities ‘’

In a comment to GAU TV the Head of the GAU Health Sport and Culture Department Turkay Akpinar stated that GAU sport Clubs are successful in all fields and they were proud to represent the GAU in national and ınternational tournaments. The Champion Team who’s target is to be one of the best of the Turkish Universities are preparing for the competition at the Kyrenia Campus sport complex .
