Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Engineering, Head of Industry Engineering Department - Assist. Prof. Dr. Burcu Toker had an important invitation after the Congress she attended last June and the session during which she held the presidency.

Worldwide known Vertical Union organized a Congress and many scientists from many countries attended. Assist. Prof. Dr. Toker was in charge of the Ergonomics session and she made a presentation about her work in the field of “Ergonomics and Anthropometry.” After the successful presentation made by Toker, the worldwide known publishing house “Taylor & Francis” offered an authorship to Toker. Toker, who will write a chapter on “Anthropometry and Ergonomics” in the book entitled “Case Studies in Emerging Economies”, conveyed her thoughts about the invitation to GAU TV.

Toker: “It is an honour for me to represent the TRNC and GAU in the World”

“Receiving such an offer from a Publishing House such as Taylor & Francis is a great honour for me. In addition to that, the other event that has made me feel proud is to represent the TRNC and GAU in the world. I think that as well as the increasing recognition of the TRNC’s academic fields, this development will also contribute to the country’s recognition. Furthermore Toker also stated that “Further, on behalf of my students and myself, I owe a debt of gratitude to GAU, and thank them for their support to our scientific research.”
