Important Announcement for GAU Summer Semester 2026 Registration &

Summer school dates: 19th

June 2026– 12nd August 2026.According to the decision taken by the Board of Directors, the Summer semester 2026

rules and regulations are as follows:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Students on academic probation can take a maximum of 2 new courses and 2 repeat

courses (maximum of 12 credits). Students that are not on academic probation but have

a CGPA below 2.00 can take 3 new courses plus 1 repeat course.

Registered students (who are not in their first or last year of studies) may take a

maximum of 4 new courses (maximum 12 credits) providing that their CGPA is 2.00 and

above and there are no course clashes.

Students that have 4 courses remaining to graduate (credit and/or non-credit courses)

can take these courses (total credit hours not to exceed 12) with the approval of their

Department and Faculty, provided that they have a feasible CGPA for graduation at the

end of the summer term.

Students who have successfully completed the Foundation English Program can take a

maximum of 4 new courses (maximum of 12 credits) from the first year of their

department; provided that no clashes occur in the schedule.

Graduating students, wishing to increase their CGPA can repeat a maximum of 4

courses. The final grades awarded will be shown on their transcripts.

The registration period of the Summer Semester 2026 will be between 15th

June-

18th

June 2026. As of 19th

June 2026, students will be charged a late registration fee for

every working day until 30th of June. Students WILL NOT be able to register after

1st July 2026.

Courses for the Summer Semester 2026 will start on 19th June 2026

No “Add/Drop” can be done during the Summer Semester.

Students registering for Summer Semester 2026 are required to pay for all of their debt

from the previous semesters. This year, summer school fees can be paid in 2

installments.

10. Payment for Summer Semester 2026 will be made per credit taken. 150 Euro is payable

for each credit. No additional activity fees will be charged.

11. English Foundation Summer School 2026 fees will be reduced to 1300 Euro.

12. In accordance with the Rules & Regulations of GAU, for students taking courses in

the Summer Semester 2026 at another University, the transfer of these courses will

not be accepted by GAU. In exceptional cases, these courses may be transferred

ONLY with the approval of GAU Rectorate. In such cases, applications must be

submitted to the Admissions Office no later than 5th June 2026. Late applications will

not be accepted.

13. The registration rules for the students on the Work Team list will be defined according

to the demand of the related unit. These students should visit Student Accounts

Department to submit their applications as soon as possible.
