Important Agreement To Create Difference In Aviation Education

GAU and Atlas Jet Atlantic Flight Academy signed an agreement in 2011-2012 academic year,which has extended the strategic co-operation protocol.

A ceremony was held in GAU Girne Campus Millennium Complex Presidency Office. GAU President Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner and General Director of AFA, Sermed Temizkan has signed to extend Education and Application protocol.

Chancellor Serhat Akpınar, Vice-Chancellor Asım Vehbi, Vice-President Dr. Olgun Çiçek and Aviation Academy Director Hakkı Doğankaya also attended the ceremony
Aviation is the Rising Global Job of the Next 20 Years

According to the statement made from GAU about the subject, jobs related with aviation are among the rising jobs of the forthcoming 20 years. Also the jobs related with Aviation sectors and academic programs have importance of shaping students’ future and career. Starting from TRNC Nationality students of GAU, all of the student applicants can have education in aviation, which also provides opportunity for an important career. Extending the co-operation range of agreement with AFA will also have important contributions to student development.

With the strategic co-operation agreement signed between GAU and AFA, the aim is to increase aviation awareness in both global and local level, providing skilled human resources to highly developed aviation sector and providing education of Flight Academy Theory and Flight Education under AFA Flight Education Organization’s supervision and GAU’s organization.
GAU Pilotage Education will begin

In addition to the agreement signed between GAU and AFA which has extended the strategic co-operation, AFA will support GAU with flight and ground education. Agreement will also give opportunity to apprenticeship for students in Atlas Jet

With the strategic co-operation agreement signed between GAU and AFA, two of the AFA Training Planes will have GAU logo in their fuselage. In the statement, the aim is also to increase student development to maximum. Also the importance of the forthcoming 20 years for aviation and the protocol’s contribution to development of people who are skilled in aviation sector has been emphasized.
Aviation Academy will start education in 16 different departments

Students who will start education or continue their education in GAU Aviation Academy will be able to continue education in GAU TRNC, Singapore, England, US or Turkey’s first education building located in Istanbul. With Aviation Academy’s contexture, students continue their education in Aviation Meteorology, Aviation English, Aviation Law, Pilot License (PPL/AFA Coordinated), Commercial Pilot License (CPL/AFA Coordinated), Air Transportation Pilot License (ATPL/ AFA Coordinated), Management, Aviation Management, Airline Business, Human Factor and Management in Aviation, Aviation Safety and Security, Total Quality Management in Aviation, Flight Crew Resource Management, Aviation and Rules, Flight Attendance.
