Founding Rector and President of Board of Governors of Girne American University Serhat Akpınar came together with the President of Gagauzia Irina Vlah. Vice President of Board of Governors of GAU Olgun Üstün accompanied Akpınar on his visit for the 2nd National Investment Forum at Capital City of Gagauzia, Komrad.

For the purposes of socio-economic recovery of Sovereign Republic of Gagauzia, İrina Vlah stated that she needs the power of foreign investment and investor. She also stated that the legal substructure ,needed to pave the way for the institutions and organizations proved their international competence and power like GAU to make an investment in Gagauzia, is being prepared.

Founding Rector and President of Board of Governors Serkan Akpınar thanked to İrina Vlah by stating his pleasure due to her friendly approach and warm welcome. Akpınar said: “President İrina Vlah have always welcomed us with her sincerity. I, with my workmates, are happy to be in these lands once again. The face of GAU faces to earth.  Luckily, our faces are open while we do this. On these lines of meanings, we continue our existence in Gagauzia, Moldova and other countries. We share our ideas about transferring students to Gagauzia and building a dorm with Gagauzia Government. I appreciate the efforts of Gagauzia Government and President İrina Vlah.”
