Cooperation protocol has been signed to improve and strengthen the relations between GAU and Kanal T.

Kanal T Chair of the Board of Administrators - Sibel Tatar and GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor - Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi attended to the protocol-signing ceremony which was held at the Kanal T building.

In her speech Kanal T Chair - Sibel Tatar conveyed her best wishes for the protocol agreement that was signed between GAU and Kanal T and stated that she believed the cooperation protocol will be beneficial for both institutions. Also, Tatar expressed her satisfaction for the collaboration between GAU and Kanal T.

GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor - Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi who made a speech at the signing ceremony, stated that Girne American University and Kanal T were in a collaboration prior to the cooperation protocol agreement and believed that, with this agreement, their mutual relations will be reinforced. Also Vehbi emphasized that we live on a small island and the institutions within the island need to increase the collaboration between themselves in the structure of win-win and supportive approach. Vehbi stated that these agreements should be conducted A within the same sector as well as in different sectors and emphasized the agreement between a university and a broadcasting organization is an example of this. Also Vehbi stated that this signed protocol will provide internship opportunities, especially for the Faculty of Communication students, and likewise the employees who work within Kanal T will also get a chance for education under GAU.
