THE 1ST of International Artificial Intelligence Symposium of GAU Successfully Completed

The first of GAU Engineering Faculty “1st International Engineering, AI and Applications” symposium is completed successfully.

The symposium that has been realized in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus Millennium Senate Congress hall has hosted 108 scientists from 12 countries. The symposium mediated for presentations on Engineering, AI and Applications.

The symposium which lasted 3 days, has consisted of 14 sessions with over 100 notices.

Prof. Dr. Derviş Karaboğa, Prof. Dr. Kemal Leblebicioğlu and KTMMOB Dr. Zihni Turkan have participated as guest speakers.

Neural Networks, AI and Evolutionary Algorithms, Developing Technologies, Intelligent Agent, Brain Models/Informatics Sciences, Expert Systems, Decision Support Systems, Computer Aided Teaching, Fuzzy Logic and Mechanical Learning, Intuitive Research Methods, Smart Databases. The President of the Symposium and GAU Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zafer Ağdelen have stated in regards to the symposium that there were high level of participation and a successful presentations on 14 sessions and over 100 notices. Ağdelen also added that the topics presented during the symposium are unique. Ağdelen underlined that the symposium is planned to be realized traditionally every year.
