Friday Seminar Series begins

The Friday Seminar Series, organised by Girne American University’s (GAU) Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, has begun in the GAU Karmi Campus Millennium Complex Senate Congress Saloon.

The Friday Seminar Series began with ‘Reproduction of Social Spaces’ and the first session was aired live on GAU TV. Dr Hossein Sadri, lecturer at the Architecture Department, attended the seminar as the main speaker.
Student development

Girne American University announced that their aim is to share the arguments discussed with the architectural world and help student’s develop to their highest potential and added that they want to further current discussions about architecture and urban design. He said that thanks to these activities GAU has the chance not only to show the quality of their lecturer’s studies but also to distinguish the education offered at GAU.

GAU also aims to publish these presentations in the future to contribute GAU’s academic successes.

The seminars will be attended by the lecturers from GAU as well as prominent scientists and lecturers from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and Koç University, both of which are in Turkey, Oxford Brookes University in England, King Fahd University in Saudi Arabia and the Central European University in Hungary.

The ‘Friday Seminar Series’ is open to the public and they are held every Friday at Girne American University’s Karmi Campus Millennium Complex Senate Congress Saloon.
