ASIIN, the official authority of the European Union on accrediting engineering education, has accredited and  recognized GAU; a TRNC university. GAU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker has conducted statements upon the accredited EU standard Engineering education in EU higher education field.

ASIIN, the official authority of the European Union on accrediting engineering education, has only accredited GAU Engineering departments and EMU Higher school of Computer and Technology and Informatics Technology departments amongst all TRNC universities thus setting a reference upon local universities and higher education. Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker has also stated that “ASIIN accreditation has empowered the science image of the Island”.

ASIIN accredited and recognized 3 Engineering departments of GAU

Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker also phrasing that departments of Electric- Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering are been accredited and recognized by ASIIN, thus including 13 engineering education labs, academic staff and curriculum under EU higher education zone therefore enabling GAU to be one of the numbered universities in TRNC and Turkey.

ASIIN Accredited Education and Diplomas are recognized by all EU States

Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker stating that ASIIN accreditation and recognition resembles GAU Engineering Faculty departments as sufficient to EU quality and criteria and the diploma to be recognized amongst all EU States. Also all graduates will have significant job opportunities during their carriers thanks to the ASIIN accreditations.
