GAU will host the first of “Pre-School Education Days” for this year.

The “Pre-School Education Days” which to be held on the first week of April annually was greatly participated. Information seminar was conducted for the participants by GAU Pre-School Teaching department.

The income earned is to be distributed amongst SOS Children Villages and the Foundation of Fight against Cancer.

GAU has underlined that the income earned which to be distributed amongst SOS Children Villages and the Foundation of Fight against Cancer will built a social awareness.

The opening speeches were held by the Head of GAU Pre-School Teaching Department Assist. Prof. Dr Mehmet Toran and Dean of GAU Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Saadettin Yıldız. Toran emphasized that the “Pre-School Education Days” holds a significance in regards to Pre-School education and also been stated that it will be repeated traditionally every year.

Yıldız: “We have not inherited the world from our ancestors but borrowed it from our children”Dean of GAU Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Saadettin Yıldız underlined in his opening speech that GAU Pre-School Teaching department initially begun education with 40 students but now reached up to 400 and he also congratulated those who contributed for this sake.

Yıldız emphasized that children are the core of life, the absolute pureness and the colors of life and he also stressed that the society do not efficiently value children nowadays.

Yıldız have emphasized that children are to be brought up perfect by others for them to be able to prepare the future of others. Thus a proverb well fits the point: “We have not inherited the world from our ancestors but borrowed it from our children”.

It has also been underlined that the main aim of the Pre-School Education Days is to enlighten the future of the children and that every new event held proves that better things can be achieved.
