The American College Schools of The American Nursery School, The American Elementary School , International Middle School and Girne American College underGAU Group of Schools of Education Consortium of Pre Higher-education providing French beside English and Turkish curriculum for all age groups beginning with 2 years olds have presented honor certificate for the nationally and internationally successful students for the fields of science, art and sports in the first semester of the academic year.


Great interest was shown by the parents of those students who received their Honor Certificate for Success in Science, Art, and Sports which was presented by the authorities and School Report in the ceremony held in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus International Congress Center Spectrum Hall.


The American College principal Aysu Balkanlar whom interviewed by the Aktüel (Actual) News program of GAU TV has further explained that Success in the examinations of the field like Science, Art, and Sports both the national and international by the students of the American College whom are been educated by English, Turkish and French curriculum since 2 years of age and whom will be the opinion leaders of the future are the education vision product of the Group of Schools of GAU.


Balkanlar expressed that students with intercultural communication and International identity from 18 different countries are been educated under the American College  which is providing curriculum, teaching staff and international exams accordingly to the EU education standards oriented by the European Council of International Schools ECIS annually. The American College is officially is recognized by the leading middle-education unions like ECIS, Council of International Schools and European Federation Schools for the uniqueness to be the one and only to be granted with the quality award of ECIS. Balkanlar also stated that the success which been achieved by the American College students in IGCSE, AS Level and A Level paves the way to the international education.
