Salih Sonel has been commemorated with classical music recital organized by GAU in Bellapais Abby.

World of Art, Education and Politics gathered together in commemoration night. In addition to Sümer Aygın, Serhat Akpınar, Asım Vehbi, Cemile Esenyel, Yıldırım Öner, Olgun Çiçek, Sualp Davut, Türkay Akpınar and artist Arman Ratip people from world World of Art, Education and Politics have convened.

Salih Sonel’s family, colleagues, artists who took stage in the night and friends thanked GAU for this meaningful event.
“Mor Yemeni and 11 Important Works have been performed”

A total of 12 different valuable works of Max Bruch, J.S. Bach, S. Rachmaninoff, L. Zoboli, A. Piazzolla, C. Mc. Dowall, W. Afanasieff, K. Aziz, H. Mancini and Ravel have been performed in commemoration night by pianist Narden Sonel, flutist Eran Raman, pianist Mine Sadrazam, Viola player Sinem Sadrazam and Clarinet player Geroge Georgiou. Also in the commemoration night Cypriot Turkish artist Kamuran Aziz’s Mor Yemeni song which was played by Mine Sadrazam with piano and Eran Ramadan with flute received a great deal of attention. Artists who had contributed the commemoration night received a standing ovation.
