After 27 years in higher education GAU is having diploma ceremony for its 2011-2012 academic year graduates.

Girne American University's 27th year of global education, with its mission of internationalization of campuses in “One University 3 Continents” offering students educational facilities in England, Singapore, USA and Turkey is having a graduation ceremony on Saturday the 2nd of June at Girne Amphitheatre at 7pm.
İstanbul Governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu will be present at the ceremony, where he will be given an Honorary Doctorate Degree.

The 27th year of Graduation ceremony will begin with the speeches of government officials, then the Istanbul Governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu will be presented with an honorary doctorate in the field of Business Management upon the decision taken by the GAU Senate.
The ceremony will be broadcasted live by BRT.

Girne American University which has students from 68 coutries continue their higher education will present 617 students from 23 countries with graduate diplomas in its 2011-2012 graduation ceremony. Alongside 481 graduates, masters and students of doctoral degree programs will also receive their diplomas at the graduation ceremony. Vasfiye Cakirtas, TRNCs first opera singer will also be performing at the ceremony which BRT will broadcast live and transmitted worlwide.
