Education Leader of Future Helps Child Development

Educational Materials designed by GAU Pre-School Teaching Department Students will be donated to SOS Children’s Village and Elementary Schools in the Area

GAU Girne Campus International Congress Center Spectrum Hall hosted the exhibition of education materials prepared by Pre-school Teaching department students.

Dean of Education Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sadettin Yıldız, Pre-School Teaching Department Head Assist. Prof. Mehmet Toran and Turkish Literature Teaching Department Head Assoc. Prof. Hasan Köksal have opened the “Educational Materials exhibition” prepared by students.
“Materials are immersive and designed for age group 5 and 8 Intelligence fields”

Exhibition opened within the framework of Educational Technologies and Material Development course is important in using teaching capability. At the end of exhibition, immersive materials designed for age group 5 and suitable for 8 intelligence fields of children, will be donated to SOS Children’s Village and elementary schools in the area.

In both Turkey and the TRNC, Pre-School Teaching became important and it is one of the ascending jobs. With the “Preparation of Future’s Education Leaders to Nation’s Needs mission”, in 2012-2013 Academic Year GAU Pre-School Teaching Department will have opportunity to support education for a limited number of students. In 2012-2013 Academic Year, students who will start higher education with ÖSYM scholarship are going to get 7 years of continuous scholarship together with the global education they will get.
