Girne American University (GAU) Men`s and Women`s Table Tennis teams were champions again after leaving their competition in the Universiade Championship, which was organized by TRNC Universities Sports Federation on 1 December 2016.

Conclusion Never Changed; GAU is the Champion

GAU Sports Coordinator BESYO Instructor Assist. Assoc. Dr. Muzaffer Doğgün celebrated his team`s success and said that they had achieved a great success by performing unbeaten matches. Doğgün said; “For the first time this year we participated in the Ladies category in the Table Tennis University Championship and became champion. As GAU Sports Coordinator, this championship made us happy. We believe that we will represent our university in the best way by participating with the women`s team in the Championship between Turkey and the universities like the men in the coming period and trust our athletes.”
