GAU Graduate Awarded By America’s Leading Architecture Competition

Majid Behboudi, Girne American University Faculty of Architecture Design and Fine Arts Department of Architecture graduate was awarded with a prize in an international architecture competition themed ‘Tomorrows Houses’ organized by the United States of America. The competition sponsored by New York’s D3 is held annually and is among the most prestigious competitions in the field of architecture, evaluating design projects of the future.

GAU Department of Architecture graduate Majid Behboudi won the Director Prize of 2012 in the international architecture competition themed ‘Tomorrows Houses’ in America.

Girne American University Faculty of Architecture Design and Fine Arts announced that the competition evaluates the design projects taking the contextual and cultural approaches and the importance of life cycle into account. It was also stated that Majid Behboudi graduated from Girne American University Department of Architecture in 2010, and that he is still continuing his postgraduate studies at the University of Toronto.
