Girne American University Basketball team became a champion in the tournament which was held on last Friday in Middle East Technical University (METU).

GAU Basketball Team became the champion of the tournament by defeating the home team with 58-48 score.

GAU Basketball Coordinator Kenan Guvensoy who made a statement about the championship referred that “As GAU, we will continue to our success in Basketball along with the other sports branches. We owe our success stability to the team spirit and discipline. Most importantly we believe with all our heart that we can succeed.” and specified that the success of GAU will continue.
