One of the most successful sports branches of Girne American University , GAU Badminton Team represents  TRNC in  Turkey Interuniversity Super League Badminton Championship which is realized in Muğla between the dates of 16-22th April.

Coming up with championships in the last four years in Turkey and TRNC,  GAU badminton team’s aim is to be successful in this championship also and come back to Cyprus with cup.

One of the most successful teams in the last four years, GAU badminton team won a great approval with the achievement in TRNC Badminton League Championship and TRNC Interuniversity Badminton Championship.

GAU Badminton team achieved to win the championship cup in Turkey Interuniversity Badminton matches as in TRNC.

With 2011-2012 Turkey Interuniversity 2. League Championship , 2012 – 2013 Turkey Interuniversity 1. League Championship and 2013- 2014 Turkey Interuniversity Super League Badminton third place, GAU badminton team competes for the championship hosted by Muğla University in Turkey Interuniversity Super League Matches between the dates of 16-22th April.
