GAU Represented by GAU Lecturer in the Conference of Semiotics

Hassina Nafa has presented her article on “Is Iconic Image Real?” and participated in the conference titled as “Is It Real?” under International Association for Semiotic Studies with the workshop titled as “Urban Space and Semiotic Identity”. Hassina Nafa’s notice has emphasized space brads, image development and examination of touristic oriented developments in North Cyprus and also the structures of new hotel buildings. In the study, it has been assessed to develop and enhance North Cyprus touristic brand under the leadership of architecture through attempts of presenting iconic and symbolic buildings into world market.

Hassina Nafa emphasized that the resultant of the research conducted by GAU Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts has underlined the importance of architecture in developing touristic economy.

Finally stated that North Cyprus is significantly dependent on educational and touristic economy thus in this sense it is aimed to be developed further via corporation.
