Girne American University ranks first in TRNC quota occupancy ratefor the 2013-2014 academic years External Transfer Exam (DGS) additional placement results.

Following the leading rank in most preferred and quota occupancy rate, GAU has ranked first amongst TRNC universities by 265 students via additional placement exam.

“Rise in GAU Internationalization Student Number is Achieved”GAU stated that development in attempts of expanding national borderswill determine the future of higher education system and structures. GAU also stated that more number of students have preferred GAU this year thus accumulating to total of 10.500 students. The most significant factor, for achieving more than the targeted number of students, is the high quality education and abroad campuses. The number of student preferring TRNC is more as there is a rise in education quality and initiations in internationalization.
