GAU prepares to host the largest academic event concerning Middle-East and Mediterranean in regards to field of Architecture.The second of CAUMME - Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism in the Mediterranean and the Middle-East international symposium which is to be hosted by GAU Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts will hold topics of Architectural and Urban Research, Education, and Practice in the Era of 'Post-Professionalism as has been concluded by the symposium administrators. It has been reported that the symposium will be realized on October-2014 co-organized by Girne American University, Yıldız Technical University and Qatar University as part of once every two years program organized for the symposium based on Architecture and Urbanism.

TRNC Welcomes World Architecture Authorities The Presidency of the Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism in the Mediterranean and the Middle-East Symposium that will be held next year in GAU will be realized by the Vice-Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts while the symposium was initially held in Istanbul Technical University in 2012 as then world architecture authorities revealed enthusiasm towards the symposium. The 2nd CAUMME Symposium, which will be held between the dates of 23-25 of October 2014 will be participated by world authority scientists from over 20 states, will be hosted by GAU.
