The famous speaker İrfan Değirmenci and Director Ertuğrul Albayrak will be hosted under the events which are been held for the 28th year of the higher education in the 2012-2013 academic year of GAU.

The seminar -“The Actual”- will be held in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus International Congress Center Spectrum Hall on 1st of March 2013 at 16:00pm.

The questionnaire prepared by the students of GAU Public Relations Department of Communication Faculty revealed that the “Best News Programs of the Year” will be presented to Kanal D Morning News.

Who is İrfan Değirmenci?

One of the most speakers İrfan Değirmenci and Directors Ertuğrul Albayrak will meet their fans and followers at the seminar which will be held in GAU to deliver messages in regards to “The Actual”. The biography of İrfan Değirmenci is as below:

After the primary school ending with phrases like “he is a boy with curiosity, he will be a journalist”, he completed his higher education in TED Ankara College.Even though once he insisted on becoming an actor in theatre, he found the true path and entered the Faculty of Communication in Ankara University.3 years of his 7 years extended schooling, he participated in a local Ostim TV.He realized his initial live broadcasts at the age of 19. Then he finally realized that he had to complete his schooling in university and returned school.But jobs never let pursuing him. When his most loved lecturer Taner Kışlalı was assassinated, he spoke up for the right to live in the afore famous debate program Siyaset Meydanı (Politics Square) and achieved to pull the attention.He begun as commentator after the offer presented by Baki Şehirlioğlu the representative of ATV Ankara Bureau.He transferred to Star Television of Cem Uzan together with Ali Kırca’s crew.After working 2 years in Star he moved to CNN Türk. After 3 years he was transferred to Kanal D with the offer presented by Mehmet Ali Birand.With his unique attitudes, he caused the news like “human passes through” to shape into “the smiling face of Ankara”.After reaching to mass of fans in Fox TV, he nowadays is presenting the Morning News at Kanal D.
