The students of the American College Girne Campus which educates under GAU Pre-Higher education -Education Institutions Consortium Group of Schools have participated in tree planting, in the school yard, which were given to them as a present by the TRNC General Directorate of Forest Department at the Tree and Forest activity.

Tree Fest had begun with the tree and nature songs, sung by the school chorus then continued by pre-school students’; “A Pile of Poem” of Flowers and Grade 5 student’ words of kindness about the trees. Subsequent to this Grades 1,3 and 4 students have performed short plays. At the end of the demonstrations tree planting held by the workers and the students.

The songs, poems and plays which emphasized the protection of forests and the environment were performed in the activities by GAU kids thus making them a model through the message they convey.
