Alongside with GAU intercontinental Campuses, England, Singapore,the USA, and Turkey, Prime Minister İrsenKüçük and authorities have laid the base of GAU Karpaz Life Campus.

Ambassador to Turkey Halil İbrahim Akça, Minister of FinanceErsin Tatar, Minister of Internal Affairs and Local AuthorityNazımÇavuşoğlu, Minister of EducationKemal Dürüst, ÖRP chairman TurgayAvcı, some deputies, mayor of Dipkarpaz Mehmet Demirci, Mayor of YeniErenköyÖzayÖykün, President of Board of Trustees of GAU, MemduhErdal, GAU academicians and residents of village have attended the groundbreaking ceremony of GAU Karpaz Life Campus. Founding rector and chancellorSerhatAkpınar made important statements and ­­­Dipkarpaz residents shared their ideas to GAU TV about GAU Karpaz Life Campus.

After groundbreaking ceremony, SerhatAkpınar, the Chancellor made a statement. He said that GAU opened intercontinental campuses in England, Singapore, USA, and Turkey with internationalization vision. And with Karpaz Life Campus, they have made an important progress for both region and history of nation.

“GAU continues to be a hope for education of our children and their future, and for unemployment”

Residents of Dipkarpaz shared their ideas about GAU Life Campus to GAU TV. They have given important support to the project and GAU became source of hope in the region. And they are no longer pessimistic and hopeless about their children’s education and future.

İhsanTurgay (Craftsman): “I’m one of the craftsmen in Dipkarpaz village. GAU Karpaz Life Campus is the source of hope for whole residents in the region”

KudrettinErdoğan (Craftsman): “GAU Karpaz Life Campus will become a lifesaver for the region. Starting from our children, it is very important investment to everyone which gives hope.”

ÖzgeAydemir (Student): “I’d like to thank to GAU authorities. Currently, I’m continuing my education. GAU Karpaz Life Campus is very important opportunity for us as students. For creating opportunity to continue our university education I’d like to thank GAU authorities again.”

NevzatBayramoğlu (Craftsman): “My children who are currently high school students will be able to go to a university. With job opportunities created by GAU Karpaz Life Campus, unemployment rate in the area will be reduced. We wish to see campus opened as soon as possible because Dipkarpaz and whole area needs it.”

RemziyeBayramoğlu (Housewife): “I’d like to thank GAU for becoming hope to our children. I feel hopeful about our children’s future and I’m happy about it. Since I don’t have chance to support my children for educating abroad, the campus which will be opened inDipkarpaz by GAU will change the future of our children.

İlyasAkçam (Pensioner): “Unemployment rate will be reduced and our children will be able to go to a university. After hearing that University will come to village, some people didn’t believe it. They always said it won’t happen. But now, GAU is coming to the village with all opportunities and power. I’d like to thank authorities, Prime Minister, and SerhatAkpınar.
