The Girne American University Founder Rector and Chancellor of the Board - Serhat Akpınar was elected for the Turkey Board of Administrators of International Diplomats Associations (UDB) which is centred in Germany.

Serhat Akpınar who was elected for the Turkey Board of Administrators of UBD, which was established over 35 years ago and works independently and supra-party, will take part in conflict and crisis prevention activities of UDB in various regions of the world.

WHAT DOES UBD DO?

UDB, which has its centre in Germany, contributes prevention activities such as conflict and crisis issues in various regions of the world. UDB has won international respect and appreciation with the activities it has participated in for society, it is not only a unity which supports Europe-wide collaborations at the interface of the economy, social environment and religion but also combines different powers, neighbourhoods, experiences and science fields within itself.

Thus UDB interact interdisciplinary and cross-border activities with the old, new and future EU memberships including Turkey.

It supports the relations between people, culture, religion, economy and the business community and mediates international, social projects which serves human security and a peaceful life through its members.

UDB makes it possible to perform and develop humanitarian projects for the organization such as schools and vocational training centres.

Furthermore UDP guarantees efficient support and reinforcement to the international organizations, institutes and economic elites and also authorities via ambassadors and national ministries and networking across Europe.
