The 16th International Psychology Students’ Congress which is every year held by universities that have psychology departments, will be held in Girne American University (GAU) Karmi Campus between Thursday 21 and Sunday 24 July.

The congress will be attended by psychology students from Turkish universities along with nearly 40 psychologists for presentations and workshops.

The theme of lat year’s congress, which was held in Ankara, was ‘Non-communication in the Era of Communication’ and this year’s theme is ‘Cross the Limits Inside of Us” A statement by GAU highlighted the importance of the congress for the Department of Psychology and added it will be a great opportunity not only for GAU but also for the recognition of North Cyprus.

During the congress students will give 48 presentations and lecturers will give a further 25 presentations and there will be eleven workshops, which will be open to the public.
