Students of GAU Now Have a Chance to go Canada Too

Under their slogan “An Intercontinental World University” Girne American University have signed important academic cooperation agreements for their US Campus.

A statement from GAU said the university signed 116 academic cooperation agreements and the most recent was signed with Centennial College in Toronto, Canada.

The agreement was signed by the Vice President of Administrative Board, Asım Vehbi, on behalf of GAU. The signing ceremony was held at GAU Karmi Campus and was also attended by Sadık Ulker, the Vice Rector of GAU. On behalf of the Centennial College University the agreement was signed by Renee Kenny.
The right decision

Renee Kenny said in a statement that the main reason Centennial College chose GAU is the recognition of GAU’s diplomas all around the world. Kenny also said that experiencing new cultures is important for individual development. She added that they, as Centennial College, are very to have close ties to North Cyprus.
Opening doors

Asım Vehbi said that with its 14,500 students Centennial College is one of the biggest academic institutions in Canada. Vehbi said that Canadian students have the chance to graduate with a double diploma and stated that GAU is accredited by the World Tourism Organisation on Tourism Education Quality (TEDQUAL) and added that Centennial College were impressed by the projects and academic programmes at GAU. Vehbi said that with the academic cooperation agreements and projects GAU opens the doors of global education for its students.

It was also said that GAU students have the chance to go Canada for their final two years while Canadian students have the chance to go GAU Karmi Campus and the other GAU campuses around the world.
