A seminar of “A New Indicator for the Damage Account on Ferro-Concrete Building caused by Earthquake and Dynamic Impacts” was realized at GAU.

The seminar which was realized in GAU Millennium Senate Congress Hall, was concentrated on the damage account on ferroconcrete building caused by earthquake and dynamic impacts. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kabir Sadeghi, the teaching staff of GAU Architecture Faculty has explained further about the energy based and earthquake caused damage detection and analysis in ferroconcrete buildings. He also emphasized the working order of the computer system of “Structural Analysis and Damage Evaluation Program” (SADEP) used for damage detection. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kabir Sadeghi said the due to the high level of damage on buildings which caused by impacts and earthquakes, there is a necessity to significantly analyze to avoid any possible loss of life or property.

Dr. Sadeghi has also stated  that they are yet continuing on their researches together with students and academicians of GAU Architecture Faculty, and thus the emphasis is now much more significant due to the rise in multistory buildings and ferroconcrete structuring.
