10 undergraduate programs under the GAU Business and Economy Faculty, 8 postgraduate and 5 doctorate programs of Graduate School have been approved by European Union’s official accreditation foundation, European Council for Business Education (ECBE).
With ECBE Approval North Cyprus has officially joined Europe Higher Education Area

In 1995 ECBE was founded in Paris to support quality and development in business and post-graduate education with European Union Standards. In order to achieve single curriculum in business education and provide perfection to education in EU standards, ECBE performs scientific supervision to give accreditation and approval. Approved universities enter to Europe Higher Education Area (EHEA).

Also, in addition to curriculum, technological infrastructure and sufficiency of academic staff, requirements for students during their learning process being considered as well and accordingly European Qualification Framework (EQF) evaluates students’ knowledge and sufficiency. According to the statement, ECBE’s approval to Undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs of GAU based on business will create important difference and awareness to student development. And approval of ECBE has important reference point to recognition of nation’s universities within EU and approval.
